Bio[]
Theodore Osborn is a very rude and evil man who ran Oliver's old branchline. He also apeared as a main antagonist He was hired by British Railways after the original owner retired. Unlike the previous owner, he hates steam engines and immediately after receiving the job, He sold off or scrapped the steam engines on the line and replaced them with diesels. Unfortunately for him, Oliver, Isabel, and Toad were able to escape a find refuge on The Fat Controller's railway.
Years later, when watching a railway documentary, he discovered Oliver had not been scrapped like originally planned. In desperate need of money, he stole Oliver and brought him back to the old line to be scrapped. But when The Fat Controller arrived with official paper work, Osborn still tried to escape with Oliver, but could not get away and was arrested.
At some point, Diesel 10 broke him out of prison and the two hatched a plan to get back at Sir Topham Hatt, Thomas and Oliver. They recruited others to their cause, notably Diesel, George, Splatter and Dodge, Arry and Bert. Over time, his plan came to fruition, staging many events to would try to portray Sodor’s railway as unsafe. Once Thomas had left Sodor, and Sir Topham Hatt went to look for him with Edward and Oliver, the cavalcade headed to Sodor to take over the railway. Osborn also recruited mainline diesels to capture Thomas, and another few to catch Edward and Oliver. Once they had been captured and brought back to Sodor, Osborn waited for Thomas to return and presented his plan to scrap him last. During this time, Diesel betrayed his plan and escapes with Oliver. Osborn jumped onboard Diesel 10 and started pursuing them, with Thomas close behind. During the chase, Diesel was knocked off the rails. Once Thomas and Oliver ran out of coal and water just shy over the Sodor rolling bridge, Frankie, Theo, Lexi, and Hurricane push flatbeds against Diesel 10, derailing him and plunging him into the river. Osborn is ripped from the engine and sucked away by the stream. Some time later, he climbs ashore at Beresford’s canal and manages to escape onboard a passing goods train.
